Why Brian’s House?
What we do.
End of life care. We partner with local hospice agencies to provide the care needed when receiving care at home is not the best option or if you and your family would prefer to quieter, home-like setting rather than in a nursing home or hospital to receive hospice care, Brian’s House is here for you. We believe that receiving hospice care is not about dying, it’s about living to the very end. Make every day count.
We work closely with a family’s hospice provider to provide day-to-day care of someone with a terminal illness. Our staff and volunteers are trained specifically to provide day-to-day care to our guests, not only physical care, but emotional care as well. We also believe it is important to provide support to families and friends of our guests. If they need to just talk, a shoulder to lean on, or someone just to sit quietly with them, we are just outside their loved one’s door.
Brian’s House is your home away from home.
When you walk into Brian’s House it doesn’t have a medical facility feel. Our beach-themed house is light and airy. Our private guest rooms are painted in warm, inviting colors and large enough to accommodate one or two overnight guests if needed. We feature a large kitchen that everyone is invited to use, a bright sun room with comfortable furnishings and a quiet room if you just need time to yourself. We encourage our guests and loved ones to make Brian’s House their home.
